Last Friday, Hertford St Andrews joined in the celebration of World Book Day by dressing up as our favourite characters from books that we have read. We had an amazing array of costumes and these were on full display in our celebration assembly. From Hermione Granger to Horrid Henry and Where’s Wally to Katniss Everdeen, all of the children looked fantastic in their costumes. Most pleasing is the reminder to us all how reading has become an integral part of our everyday approach to learning at Hertford St Andrew, with all of our young people showing a real passion to read. Thank you to all of our parents/carers who supported the event and we are already looking forward to next year’s World Book Day.
