October learning!
- The whole school have been learning all about Diwali through a dance workshop. Here Year 1 practised a range of movements including jumping up like a firework.
- Nursery class have been exploring and finding shapes all around them and creating their own pictures using 2D shapes.
- Reception have been learning to sort and group different objects using their fruits and vegetables.
- As part of learning about online safety, Year 5 and 6 have created their own computer games to teach others about how to keep themselves safe when online.
- The Worship and Well- being Ambassadors led their first ever collective worship around the theme of generosity and what this value means at Harvest time.
- Year 3 and 4 had a Roman day with a visitor from Hertford Museum. They even made their own shields and created a phalanx!
- Year 5 also took part in a history workshop with Hertford museum, exploring a range of artefacts.
- In Year 2, children have been using models to show how they can add together tens and ones.
