Nut Allergies
School Packed Lunches
Please be aware that we have children who are allergic to nuts, which is a life threatening condition, and therefore we will need to be a “nut free” school . We do not use nuts in any of our food prepared on site at school.
Please can you help us to protect these children by being vigilant when providing your child with packed lunch and when bringing any foods such as snacks and birthday cakes.
Being “Nut-Free” means that the following items should not be brought into school:
- Packs of nuts
- Peanut butter sandwiches
- Fruit and cereal bars that contain nuts
- Chocolate products that contain nuts
- Sesame seed rolls (children allergic to nuts may also have a severe reaction to sesame)
- Cakes made with nuts
