Fabulous Final!
On Monday, 8 children from Years 3 & 4 took part in the exciting rapid - fire cricket final. Our first 2 games were against the large school finalist, Bengeo. Nerves were very quickly replaced by skillful batting and accurate fielding. After a tense few minutes, while the runs were added, it was announced that Hertford St Andrew were the winners.
Composed, the team were ready to play again; this time it was against the medium school winners, Hertingfordbury. After a very close and exciting match, narrowly losing 69 runs to 67 runs we had to wait patiently while Bengeo played Hertingfordbury.
The final scores were announced as follows: 1st Hertingfordbury, 2nd Hertford St Andrew and 3rd Bengeo.
