District Athletics for Year 4 and 5

This afternoon, 19 children from Year 4 and 5 travelled to Wodson to take part in the district athletics event. There was a mixture of track and field events for the children to participate in, including a 4x100m relay and standing long jump. 

Each child showed amazing perseverance with new challenges, such as the 600m, and great teamwork, encouraging and supporting others. Thank you to Riley for leading the warm-ups! 

Hertford St. Andrew were also successful in winning the following medals:

Gold

Zak - standing turbo javelin 

Omera - standing turbo javelin

Eduard - standing turbo javelin 

Elsa - 60m sprint 

 

Silver

Johanna - standing long jump

Ivy - standing long jump

Ana - 60m sprint

Omera - 60m sprint

Henry - standing turbo javelin

Junior - standing turbo javelin
