• Year 3 and 4 Cricket Champions

  This afternoon, a crack team of 8 children from years 3 and 4 took part in a rapid-fire cricket competition at Wodson Park.  Our first match was against Middleton School and saw us triumph with a 110-54 victory.  We weren't so lucky in the second match, narrowly losing by 97 points to 102. Unfazed by this defeat, we pulled out all the stops and battled hard in our final match and were rewarded with another victory.  All of this meant that Hertford St Andrew were the overall winners of the small schools' category.

  Dreary skies and drizzle couldn't dampen the enthusiasm of  pupils at Hertford St Andrew today as they began a new exercise initiative - The Daily Mile. 

  At 13:55 precisely, classroom doors were thrown open as the whole school turned out to walk, jog or run their mile.
