• Y2/3 Scooter Training

  We were lucky to have another visit today from Katie Goldthorpe, this time to teach scooter safety to our Year 2 and 3 classes. Children brought their scooters into school and learnt how to scoot safely on the pavement, look and listen for traffic and use their brakes effectively.

  

• FS/Y1 Road Safety Training

  The Foundation Stage and Year 1 children spent a morning listening to an interactive talk from Katie Goldthorpe on how to safely cross the road. Children learnt to STOP, LOOK and LISTEN and practised crossing our 'road' in the hall. Thank you to all the mums and dads who were able to join us.

  

• Take One Picture Week

  All week the children have been learning about their class artist. A gallery of all the learning was on display in the hall for everyone to see. There are definitely some budding Matisses, Monets, Van Goghs, Dalis, Turners, Kandinskys and Klees around Hertford St. Andrew!
