Welcome to Willow Class (Y1)

For Outdoor Learning Day, we explored the value of curiosity! 

We took part in many exciting learning activities and even made our own volcanoes 

We also explored our senses with a blind taste test of different foods from porridge to lime. 

World Mental Health Day!

Today we remembered World Mental Health Day, we took the afternoon did some fun activities and spoke about what Mental Health means and how we can take care of ourselves. We also looked at the 'Zones of Regulation' and our 'Worrymeter' to really understand our minds and our emotions.

Values Day!

Willow class looked at the value of creativity, we used our English learning – where we have looked at fables and traditional tales/folklore and performed our version of the Tingatinga Tale ‘How Giraffe got a long neck’ for Hazel Class.

We also created our own versions of a Tingatinga Tale and became authors again!
